OK, now that I have been trying to be a good blogger, it seems that some of you (and you know who you are) are slackers. I have been trying to be reponsible. Now I know what you mean when you say I check everyday and again there was nothing there. If yous guys are not careful, I just might have to "spank you".

LICENSE
This is upsetting but I thought I should pass it along. Check your drivers license. Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was. . . picture and all!! Thanks Homeland Security! Where are our rights? I definitely removed mine. I suggest you do the same...Go to the web site and check it out. Just enter your name, city and state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.http://www.license.shorturl.com

You know how when you're driving and you see a traffic jam, you try to avoid it? Well, can I say that I was already on the exit ramp to get off before I noticed all the stopped traffic. If I had been paying attention I would not have gotten off of the ramp. But no, as usually I was daydreaming about god knows what or who. So, here I sit in traffic for 25 minutes with my Edy's "special edition" Bengals ice cream that cost me $3.00 for a sniff and it is melting. But, I did call my sweetie to let him know of my good intentions and tell him I would be home soon with his vanilla/fudgy swirl/with little caramel filled footballs SOUP! Oh how he loves me just for the thought.(Touchdown) Any other day I would not have ice cream sitting in my car melting, as I never ever never buy ice cream. Anyway after about 20 minutes of sitting there not moving and not knowing why I'm not moving, I see about 10 police cars, 10-15 cops on cycles 4-5 presidential cars, and behind them was 4-5 SUV's with guys hanging out the windows with automatic(I assume) gun, coming up the interstate where I have not seen anybody come up for 20-25 minutes. Now it is after my bedtime cause being the nice person I am, I am baking cookies for one of my co-workers b-day. My sweetie said it must be for my boyfriend since I was staying up late and baking him cookies. Oh how I needed a good laugh!

Did the Bengals kick butt or what? Bengals 34, Browns 17.

My friends are so funny, they get the biggest thrills when I update my blog. So I decided to thrill them again. Of course, I did say I was gonna try and get back on track. Well I live in a nut-house, it's hard to find time. Sometimes, I feel like I really don't have much to say even though I talk all the time.

I am a very bad blogger. Bad, bad me. I was reading my friends blogs and thinking how much fun. I feel like I am really out of the loop, so I am going to try and get better. I only had 185 e-mails, now thats bad. You guys are so good. I did paint a cement basket I had outside and planted mums in it. That was only on my to do list all summer. This weekend went way to fast. Heck my whole life goes to fast. (Breathe in, breathe out!) OK I forgot how to spell that thing that I do with my lungs. Anyway we had our first family reunion here in Ohio, we had a whoppin 24 people! That sounds like alot but when you have seven kids in a family and they have kids and they have kids, etc......... Oh well.

Once again I am house/dog sitting. Time for a little peace and quiet. This time I also am checkin in on "Charlie". She's my black lab friend, sorry Sami, but I do have other friends. I know you thought you was the only one. I think I might quit my job at school and do this for a livin! I think I like my dogs better than most of the kids. But I would miss some of them, like my little Travis. I love that kid. Oh well I must stop for now. I need to go watch some uninterupted T.V. I don't think I've watched a show all the way through since I was here before. My mom's right I do need to take care of me.........

Yes, she (my mom) finally did have one of her surgery's. She did very well so now maybe she will have the major one that will save her life. It's funny what people say when they are coming out of anesthesia. Of coarse I stayed with her friday night and of coarse she woke from the anestetic at 11p.m. And of coarse she was up for the night. My leg was killing me and naturally I was complaining. She raised her head up enough to say "Well did you tell the nurse?" I said, Mom they don't care about my leg. She said maybe they would give me something. Yea right mom maybe they'll share your pain medicine with me. Then she preceded to tell me I should tell Dr. Miller about my leg. Now I'm not sure but I'm thinking that a vascular surgeon really don't care about my bum knee.! When I told her this in a nice way, she got a little upset with me telling me that I had no right to tell her how to take care of herself when I didn't even take care of myself. Well here's a thought if I wasn't busy taking care of her, maybe I would be taking care of myself......thank you very much!!!!! Mom's.......you gotta love em.

Well, it looks like it is a go! My mom will hopefully have her surgery this friday. My last two summers have been vacation free waiting on my "mother" to ---- or get off the pot. Mothers, you gotta love them, no matter what. I was bitchin and moanin to Rick about my mom. He said be glad she's the way she is. She could be like my mom. We think she's getting early alzheimers. He's right, my mom can drive me nuts, but she is the only mom I will ever have and I Love her!!!!

Today is my last day of peace and quiet! Wah!!!!!! Sami is still protecting me. She is great, I love her. The boys are sweet too, but Sami just is a doll baby. She is tickled to see me everytime. If I walk across the room to get a drink and come back, she acts like I've been gone forever. She holds her own with the boys too. Bubba don't care if I'm here or not as long as he gets his food and his treats. Zeke stays up in his room waiting for his "Mother". He comes down every now and again to check to see if "she" has returned, wags his tail at me, then goes back up. Oh well, we all should have someone that loyal.

Well I made it through the second night and nothing has come out of the basement and gotten me. What a relief! Sami is still guarding the door just in case. When she goes outside, she peers in the basement windows to make sure I am safe. Good dog!

I finally have a moment to catch up on my blogging! I am officially a dog/house sitter this week. There is no one here to holler for me to get them ANYTHING! The dogs are busy running in and out doing there thing. Every now and then, one of them runs in to "check" on me. Mostly it's Zeke, I think that is because he is the biggest momma's boy. Every now and then all of them takes of running and starts barking like they are going to eat somebody . This is fine except if it happens in the middle of the night around 1:30-ish. I'm not saying I'm a chicken, but........I am use to living in a basement apartment, not a big ole house with doors and windows everywhere and a basement. Can I just say that I hate basements, (ironically, I live in one). I think maybe someone locked me there as a child. Wouldn't you know that when I first got here yesterday, Sami, the little feisty one was sitting at the basement door. She would not leave the door, she was glued to it making me wonder if someone had snuck in while I was gone and was waiting in the basement to come up and get me when I was asleep. And of coarse Bubba just don't care about anything, he's just as laid back as can be. I know that two of you who are reading this and laughing at me cause you know how I am. I officially started my new job this summer as a dog sitter last week. Charlie is also my new best friend, we played ball, pooped, played some more ball, etc......... Can I just say I have four new best friend and "ILOVETHEM".

I watched the Oprah show last Wednesday with Elie Wiesel. He is a survivor of the Holocaust.
I am definitely going to read this book during my summer vacation.

Check out this link.

(See, Mrs. Hanke, I updated my blog with the help of Mrs. Orfield.)

I hadn't even heard of blogging, (even though I think it is cool as hell, not that hell is cool, or so I've heard). I heard about it at work through one of my friends. But here is my first attempt at it. It is probably going to sound like I'm rambling but it will get better, I promise. This is a neat way to put down into words how I feel(hey there's a song there) or what I am thinking. I will have to give it some thought and come up with something creative to put on here. I told you, it will get better. These little darlin's would be our children now that all of ours are grown.
