I had to post our Danny and tell you all a little about him. Daniel has fragile x (which is a form of mental retardation), he is 27 yrs. old. But you wouldn't know he was retarded until he talked, well maybe you would. You never know what is going to come out of his mouth. He loves, loves, loves his Aunt Connie. She has helped take care of him every since he's been born. So for christmas I got him a puzzle of a picture of him and Connie. He has always called her his "who", why, I don't know. But it is better than what he usually calls me (or her,for that matter) and he loves me too. Anyway the puzzle, which he loves puzzles, is a pic and it says "I love my who". Needless to say, he loved it. BTW, he always wants to sit on the floor???????? Who know's?

Caroline(my sis) opening a present!

I had a busy week as I'm sure everyone did. Last sunday, me and my sis baked cookies and made candies. Wednesday, both of my sis's came over and we ate and did our gifts. We played bowling on the Wii. I forgot how much fun it was. Then christmas eve, we all went to mom's for snacks and gifts. Friday was dinner at our house, all the kids came down, mine, Rick's, Connie's. We had a house full or should I say two house full's. For those of you who don't know, Rick's sister and her husband and son live in the house upstairs. It is like a duplex except on top of one another. We are one close knit family. We all had a good time. It was real busy but fun. I have been a bit of a slacker, I know. But now maybe it will slow down a bit and I will get back on track. Christmas was fun, I got a lot of really nice gifts. I have an awesome family on all sides. I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Lady and Ozzie having fun in the snow

Gracie in the sink, where she is a lot!

Helping me fold clothes!

Just chillin!

Fergie, doing what she does best.

And now ........all grown up!

I guess I was boring Fergie too! Hmph!

I am bored, can you tell? My lady will be 9 yrs old in Jan. can you beleive it? My girls are already over 2 yrs. old. I only was going to bring home one stray but I had to bring Gracie home so she wouldn't die alone. It is so hard to think that I brought Gracie home too b/c I didn't think she would make it. She was so pitiful. She had to be fed with an eye dropper and she weighed less then 2 lbs. Well, she's not pitiful any more.

Matty trying on my glasses!

Finally, I got it right! Can you see me now?

I was looking at some of my pics, since I've been homebound. I don't think I posted these, but if I did you can look at them again. The older ones I know I didn't post b/c I didn't have a blog when they were babies. Anyway I just think these are so cute. I am sure Marissa will not think her sitting on the torlet is so cute. But as a grandma, I am allowed to do it.

Brianna, hammin it up!

And now for the oldies but goodies............................

Marissa, needs no explanation!

I am setting here typing the title and I said I was still among the licking! No, I do not lick people in case ya'll are wondering. My brain is just not quite right yet. I hear you people who are saying, "was it ever? Anyhoo, tomorrow back to work. I can honestly say I am ready. I don't think my car has EVER sit this long before. It has been a whole week. I still have the usual soreness. I say usual, but I really don't know what usual is? My belly button hurts the worst, it feels like they must have pulled an elephant thru it. Yes, Val, I know you would come and help. I do appreciate it. Really, I haven't needed  a lot. It is pretty easy sitting on my butt. I have gotten some shopping done online. I did miss going out friday after thanksgiving. Next year, I promise I will be there.

Well, it's becoming a ritual every year about this time for me to have some kind of surgery. This year it will be the removal of the old gallbladder. At this rate, if I keep going I will run out of body parts. Oh well, what can I say? It won't work and it hurts really bad at times. So, next tuesday I will be going to have it yanked out. The sad part of all of it is not that I probably won't feel much like Thanksgiving, but I will miss black-friday with my BFF'S. Wahhhhhhhh, my head is in a screw. Maybe I can work on my scrapbooking and all fifty of my other projects I have started. Later peeps!

I am usually scared of spiders, but I wasn't afraid of this one that came by on halloween night. I had to hug and kiss and give him lots of candy. He is the sweetest thing, he wanted "choc choc" from "gramma D!

He is pointing at Pappa Rick, Pappa was wearing his "big" costume!

Hangin with mom and enjoying some of the loot!!!!!!

He wanted to carry his pail all by himself! His mom and dad forgot his bag, so I gave him one. It was as big as he was!

I just want to share a few pics of the beautiful foliage on our trip to Tennessee. This is the best time of the year to go. The sky was beautiful and the air was crisp. Gorgeous!!!! Of coarse, the tourist were crazy in Pigeon Forge. I am going to try to post later, but today is halloween.

I had a truly awesome birthday. It started like I told you with my sissy and neice earlier in the week. Then my bestest friend in the world, Kim brought us lunch, (taco bell salad) Yummo! She brought me a cute card about not being able to hear. Can you imagine? It had a hobby lobby gift card! Yay! Then my other two friends at work brought me another cute card about not being able to see, hmmmph! It had a gift card from my favorite place to eat, olive garden, yummo. The kids at school made me nice cards and made me brownies. But it didn't stop there my sweet husband got me a real cute cake and we had pizza for dinner. He got me the cutest little cat diamond necklace. I am gonna try to find a picture of it. It is adorable. Then for the weekend, I am going to tennessee with my sissy and neice. What more could a girl ask for? Diamonds, chocolate cake, food! YUMMO!

It took me a few days, but I finally figured out how to get my music on my blog! Yay. Kimmie, I put a couple of songs on for you! Not by Cher, but it is on there. I will add to it now that it is on there. Val, I couldn't get it to work like you said, it kept saying it had an error. But I got it and that's what counts.

My husband really is hot, but this was only a costume he got to wear to his halloween party with his biker friends. This is so funny b/c it is so not Rick. When he said he was going to this party, it surprised me. Then when he said he was getting a costume to wear, it floored me. You see, I am the one in the family who don't know a stranger. Rick is so out of place among a room of strangers. He just joined this motorcycle group a few months back. It is the local chapter of HOGGS. That is something to do with Harley????? He said everyone in the club is really nice, he just don't know anybody yet. Anyway here he is checking it out. We laughed so hard b/c it was hilarious when it started to blow up and when he tried to sit down. I love that man!

Isn't he cute???

                                                     He has a new job!
Flexing the old muscles!

Now I don't want to brag, but my husband has got to be one of the hottest around. This is why I love him sooooo. He has been working out lately and it really shows! Sandy, I thought you might get a kick out of seeing your brother lookin so fine. I am so glad that your coming home for Thanksgiving. We miss you! I have a lot of new scrapbooking things to share with you. Plus, I will give you the chick stamp that I am sure Fergie carried off.
                                                                The back isn't shabby either!

This is our "Granny Box". Caroline, Kim and I wanted to send granny a little something for her birthday. We found some really pretty material and Kim got some real pretty quilt pieces. We also included some thread b/c Val said granny loves it. And of coarse, you have to put some chocolate in it. Caroline had gotten this box and she brought it to put everything in it. Isn't it pretty?? Do you think granny is going to get spoiled? Naw, she is too sweet for that.

I figured while I was at it, I might as well continue. I not only have a picture of my quilt but some other pics. I love my quilt and apparently Fergie does too. I had to move her a couple of times and she kept coming back, so I took the pic with her in it. My quilt goes from being on my bed to covering me up at night. I love my granny quilt!

Also my new camera, love, love, love it!
