My first born grandchild is sick. Now all you grandma's know how much you love ALL your grandkids, but you know that feeling of it being your first. Anyhoo, Marissa has been running a temp for a few days. Her parents couldn't keep it down. So, today they took her to the hospital and they are pretty sure she has the H1N1 flu. So, I need everyone to say a little extra prayer for her tonight. She is quarinteaned(?????) up in her room and has to wear a mask if she comes out of it. She also has 2 ear infections, so they had to do a culture b/c the original test was giving a false/negative reading. So, the hospital will call tomorrow with the results for sure. But none the less, she sounds horrible and she really is sick. As I was sitting here blogging about my baby, my other baby (the real baby), Matty called. He is about 18 months old and he is too stinkin cute. He calls me "Mamma D". Well, that's all I got for now. Let me go get in my P.J. so I can ready for my sleepness, restless night. You know how we say we aren't going to worry until there is something to worry about. Yea, right! This is a picture of Marissa with her great, great, great Aunt Minnie, Matty is just Matty!

I will be praying for Marissa. I'm sure she'll be ok. I know how worried you are though, I would be too. Try to get some sleep tonight and maybe there will be good news tomorrow!

Oh Diane, I am so sorry. I am so glad that they have her in the hospital where she can get the meds she needs. You have my prayers. I pray for you and Marissa and your whole family. Please keep us updated. I hope you get some rest.
